State College, PA — Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce engaged in a contentious confrontation with a Penn State fan outside Beaver Stadium on Saturday. The incident escalated when Kelce destroyed the individual’s phone after the fan directed a homophobic slur at his brother, Travis Kelce, in reference to his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Multiple videos captured Kelce walking near Beaver Stadium at Penn State, where he was greeted by college students who enthusiastically called out his name and requested fist bumps.
In the video, an individual can be heard yelling, "Hey Kelce, how does it feel that your brother is a f----- dating Taylor Swift.
The fan continues to trail Kelce, seemingly capturing footage of him. The ex-NFL player ultimately snatches the phone from the man and forcefully throws it on the pavement.
CAUTION: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE
Numerous videos have emerged on social media showcasing the interaction.
In one clip, Kelce seems to be leaving with the phone. In another, when the individual requests the return of the phone, Kelce allegedly replies, "Who’s the f----- now?"
Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and brother of Jason Kelce, began a romantic relationship with pop star Taylor Swift. The news emerged after he disclosed on his podcast, "New Heights," during the summer of 2023, his intention to offer Swift a friendship bracelet that included his phone number at her concert in Kansas City.
Jason currently serves as a commentator for ESPN. He was in State College to take part in "College GameDay," leading up to Saturday's Penn State versus Ohio State football game.
