PBR's biggest competition in Springfield is... Cashew Chicken???

Springfield, MO — Bull riding fans in Springfield, Missouri have been starving for some PBR action. The last time PBR made a trip to Springfield was back in 2019. So this weekend's PBR Teams: Thunder Days competition is going to be the town's biggest draw over the Labor Day weekend. The Missouri Thunder are trying to have a successful homestead in front of the home crowd.

But as much as Springfield loves PBR, there is something else the entire community is equally passion about and that thing is... cashew chicken. Seriously, the people in Springfield eat cashew chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's easily the town's number one delicacy.

There is one Chinese restaurant in Springfield whose cashew chicken stands out from all the rest. The Riksha has become the standard for cashew chicken. They recently won The Springfield Cashew Chicken Championship.

Merit Street Sports Correspondent, Desmond Purnell, paid The Riksha a visit. Watch to see if their menu lived up to all the hype.

Also, Day two of PBR Teams: Thunder Days resumes Saturday, August 31st. at 9 P.M. ET on Merit Street and Merit +.
