E.D. Hill

Biography

E.D. Hill is an award-winning television journalist and author.  Currently beside Scott Rasmussen on The Scott Rasmussen Show, Hill got her start covering politics and anchoring the weekend news in Duluth, MN. She also worked as a reporter and anchor in Waco, Pittsburgh, Boston, and New York City.

Viewers may recognize Hill from her long tenure at Fox News Channel where she co-hosted Fox and Friends for ten years. Her charming voice and political prowess are no stranger to radio listeners either, as she spent five years co-hosting The Radio Factor with Bill O’Reilly and reporting business news for CBS Radio. Before making the big move to Merit Street, Hill spent several years as a political commentator on CNN.

Hill’s integrity, enthusiasm, and ingenuity in reporting have earned her an AP Award for her coverage of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, a Golden Quill, and an Emmy. She is the author of two books, Going Places: How America’s Best and Brightest Got Started Down the Road of Life and I’m Not Your Friend, I’m Your Parent. She is the mother of eight children and lives in Driftwood, Texas with her husband, Joe. She is a member of the Ballet Austin Board of Directors, the Junior League of Austin, and the Women's Symphony League of Austin. Her favorite volunteer activity is working the concession stand at Wimberley High School.
