Dallas, TX – Aug. 20, 2024 – Merit Street Media™, the cable broadcasting and streaming outlet founded by Dr. Phil McGraw, will begin airing on WJAL-TV (Channel 68 on Xfinity, DIRECTV and DISH; Channel 33 on Verizon Fios and Channel 55 on RCN.) beginning Aug. 21. The network, which launched in April to over 80 million homes, features a dynamic lineup including the new nightly talk show “Dr. Phil Primetime,” live morning and evening news programs, and more.
In addition to “Dr. Phil Primetime,” new programming includes “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace,” “The Scott Rasmussen Show,” and live news broadcasts such as “Morning on Merit Street” and “The News on Merit Street.” On July 12, Merit Street welcomed Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to its roster, marking its inaugural venture into live sports programming.
The network also offers a variety of library programming, including classic episodes of “Dr. Phil” in “Dr. Phil – True Crime” and “Dr. Phil – Wake Up,” as well as “Bear Grylls: The Island,” “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” with Mike Rowe, and “Steve” the talk show hosted by the iconic legend, Steve Harvey.
