MERIT STREET MEDIA™ Unveils Plans to Become One of the Most Widely Distributed TV Networks in Modern History

Dallas, TX (December X, 2023) — MERIT STREET MEDIA™  announces it has successfully completed agreements to establish the Merit Street Media television network as a fully distributed, cable, satellite, and free over-the-air broadcast media brand. With commitments already exceeding 65 million television homes and pending agreements set to significantly expand that number, Merit Street, in partnership with Trinity Broadcasting Network, is poised to become one of the most widely distributed startup networks in modern history.

Anchored by the highly anticipated nightly program, “Dr. Phil Primetime,” Merit Street, announced by Dr. Phil McGraw last month, will feature four hours of original prime time content, including a live prime news hour. These flagship programs will serve as the launch hub for a fully integrated multi-platform destination media brand. Additional programming, to be announced, will include true crime, family friendly shows and familiar TV personalities.

Merit Street will also leverage partnerships with Free Advertiser Supported Television (FAST) platform distributors, with the goal of achieving a near ubiquitous national network footprint soon after launch, set for April 2, 2024. This approach ensures that Merit Street content comprising live and on-demand television, FAST, SVOD/AVOD, podcasts, web, and social media channels reaches a broad national audience with unparalleled access and convenience, where it will also be available on DirecTV and Dish, among cable and satellite systems.

In this next-generation, always-on media ecosystem, Merit Street Media's 24/7/365 content and messaging will capitalize on the broadcast channel's ubiquitous national reach. This strategy positions Merit Street as a key player in the media landscape, offering unprecedented real-time reach for sponsors on a national scale.
