Dr. Phil interviews Trump in Vegas, then RFK, Jr. in Phoenix

Las Vegas, NV –Dr. Phil Primetime” will feature two exclusive primetime interviews with former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., airing on August 27 and 28, respectively, on Merit Street™, the cable TV network, streamer and free app founded by Dr. Phil McGraw. The interviews, conducted on August 23, saw Dr. Phil speak with Trump in Las Vegas and RFK Jr. in Phoenix within hours of each other.

The Trump conversation, airing Tuesday, August 27, at 8 p.m. ET, covers a range of topics, including an assassination attempt, allegations of a cover-up regarding President Biden’s health, his message to independent voters, and the potential role of RFK Jr. in a future administration.

“I’m very honored. He’s a smart guy,” Trump said of RFK Jr.’s support. “I think he’s going to be a great asset. Will I have him in the administration? I don’t know. We haven’t discussed it.”

Immediately following the Trump interview, McGraw traveled to Phoenix to speak with RFK Jr., marking his first interview since suspending his campaign and removing his name from the ballot in about ten battleground states to avoid being a spoiler.

"Trump and I have known each other a long time. I have litigated against him, even during that time, he gave me a ride to Florida on his plane," shared Kennedy. "He’s a very congenial, interesting guy and very warm."

That interview airs Wednesday, August 28, at 8 p.m. ET, and delves into RFK Jr.’s decision to support Trump and his aspirations for a role in a potential Trump administration.

Dr. Phil interviewed Trump and RFK Jr. earlier this year on “Dr. Phil Primetime,” with those episodes airing on June 6 and June 27, respectively.
